Empowered Barbie

Last month, I was shopping for a Barbie doll for my DD’s gift exchange baby. The little girl specifically requested for a Barbie and has nothing else in her wish list. I had to oblige :) We went to the toy store and I realized that Mattel  have empowered Barbie giving her professions other than just a model. Most of the new ones were out of stock that we ended up just getting the one who is ready for bed. Early this month, I heard that Mattel one step further by upgrading the current Computer Engineer Barbie to have more current gadgets:

barbie_computer_engineer Ain’t she cute and geeky?  She now has an iPhone and her a customized Barbie operating system in her laptop. If my DD isn’t just 1 year old, I would have bought this one for her this Christmas!
